Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
